Christmas is a wonderful time of joy for these families, but when one of the family members is deployed, that pregnancy can be a lonely place to be.
So, we threw a party for 50 Military wives whose husbands were deployed. I'm not sure who was the most excited, them or us!
It was an honor for me to visit with each of the families and thank them for their service but also to let them know they are appreciated.
These families work so hard to protect you and me and our nation. They don't hear 'Thank You' or how much they are appreciated often enough.
Serving in the Military is a family experience. One spouse may be deployed while the other spouse has full responsibility for the family and the home. I am trying to say that both husband and wife need our love, care, and appreciation.
Children need additional love and support while dads or Moms are deployed. So, we threw a Christmas Party for 50 Military children with gifts and brunch for every one of them.
Churches and Youth Activity Clubs have so much to offer the children; please, friends, donate your time, love, and support. Help these children develop their identity, self-esteem, and their education.
I got to dress up like Kermit the Frog and enjoy the children before I got out of that hot frog suit to invest time with each of the families.
Thank You to the La Costa Resort for donating their large banquet room and catering the event
Thank you to the merchants in San Diego for their support in donating thousands of dollars in new baby furniture, toys, diapers, and more to help each of these families get off to a GREAT Start!
Did Dennis Maness get framed?
On yeah, after taking off the Kermit the Frog suit, he took up two frames, one saying 'It's a Girl and one saying 'It's A Boy.'
The intent was to take pictures of the expectant mother in the appropriate frame. All in a Great Day of Fun!

Our world needs a significant change toward hope, unity, peace, and joy.
I'm tired of hearing about stress, stress related illness, the violence, shootings, and suicides, all of which are unnecessary.
Change starts in the heart. A change in the heart will create a change in emotions. A change in emotions can change a circle of friends, then a school, a community, then a city, a state, and the nation.
That is why we have a major focus on our students.
BRITISH ISLES
My family has been working two and three school assemblies a day in the British Isles from October until about December every year for the last 40+ years.
They have two letters of proclamation from the Parliament and a waiting list of schools wanting them to come and share encouragement and good news with their students.
My brother-in-law (Maraty) has written over 100 books; around 30 are used in colleges and seminaries.
UNITED STATES
We do school assemblies in the United States, but I am not as full-time as my family.
Enjoy the pictures of the school assemblies.
If you wish to participate, please get in touch with us.
We thank you for your continued support.
